TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS OF PERSONAL RECRUITER
The following terms and conditions ("the Conditions") are the terms on which Personal
Recruiter sells CV services and supersedes all other terms and conditions relating to
the subject matter of these Conditions
1. PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price for the CV services ("the Price") shall be the quoted price of Personal
Recruiter and payment of the Price shall be made by the client immediately upon
acceptance of an order. Payment may be made by credit card or other cleared funds.
2. SERVICES AND GOODS
We will exercise all reasonable skill and care in undertaking the following steps:
a) Obtain information from you about your career, your achievements and future wishes.
b) Analyse what in our opinion amount to the key elements of your CV in that context.
c) Present relevant information in a CV in a clear manner and in a way that from our
experience we believe will assist you in achieving the next step in your career.
d) Personal Recruiter reserve the right to replace an allocated CV consultant with
another member of staff / associate should the need arise
3. DELIVERY
The Seller shall deliver the completed CV to an email address nominated by the client.
The level of service you order will determine the average length of time taken to
deliver your order. Whilst personal recruiter will endeavor to deliver to these
specified timeframes, we offer no guarantee that the service will be delivered
within said timeframes unless an additional 24 hour delivery fee has been colllected.
4. RISK
The use of the CV shall be entirely at the risk of the client following delivery. Personal
Recruiter ceases to hold any intellectual property or title to the CV upon delivery.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Personal Recruiter accepts no liability for the misuse of CV products, by misrepresentation
of employment history, achievements etc, loss to employer subsequent to delivery. It is not
the role of Personal Recruiter to validate employment details or to ensure accuracy of
employment details other than those provided by the client for the purposes of the client.
Personal Recruiter accept no liability for false information provided by a client.
6. FORCE MAJEURE
Personal Recruiter shall not be liable for any default due to any circumstance beyond
their reasonable control, including, but not limited to, Acts of God, accident, IT viruses,
terrorism, war, civil unrest, riot, strike, lock-out, acts of civil or military authorities,
fire, flood, earthquake. etc.
7. GENERAL
7.1. If any term or provision of these Conditions is held invalid illegal or unenforceable
for any reason by any Court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and
the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these
Conditions had been agreed with the invalid illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated
7.2. Personal Recruiter may without the consent of the client sub-licence its rights or
obligations or any part of these Conditions.
7.3. The headings in these Conditions are for ease of reference only and shall not affect
the interpretation of any of the Conditions
8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Each of the parties agrees that save in respect of statements made fraudulently it shall
have no remedy in respect of any untrue statement upon which it relied in entering this
Agreement and further that no statement or representation which is not contained in
writing in this agreement shall form part of the contract between the parties.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby
submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales
10. RIGHTS OF CONSUMER
Nothing in these Conditions shall affect the statutory rights of a consumer.
11. SCOPE OF TRADING
11.1 Personal Recruiter is not a recruitment or employment agency & does not in any way
offer to provide employment, job interviews or other direct recruitment services to either.
12.a CANCELLATION
All services may be cancelled up to 7 days after purchase, without reason by the Consumer,
except where the service has already commenced. Full payment for the services is due and
will be taken at the time of booking. If the services have been purchased then the
following cancellation rules apply;
Cancellation up to 7 working days prior to the consultation being undertaken with a
consultant 10% will be deducted from the refund for administration charges.
Cancellation up to 4 working days prior to the consultation being undertaken with a
consultant 25% will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellation up to 2 working days prior to the consultation being undertaken with a
consultant 50% will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellation up to 1 working day prior to the consultation being undertaken with a
consultant 75% will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellation within 1 working day of the consultation being undertaken with a consultant
no refund will be given
Refunds due will be returned within 30 days of cancellation to the purchaser.
